Fireseal Marine Wrap is a high-performance pipe penetration seal designed to meet the requirements of IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 3. It provides reliable fire protection for plastic pipes passing through fire-rated compartments on marine vessels, preventing the spread of fire, smoke, and gas.
Key Features:
Intumescent graphite wrapping material for single or multiple plastic pipes in the same penetration
Expands when exposed to heat or fire, sealing the pipe and the penetration opening
Suitable for fire cells classified as A0–A60
Cuttable to various lengths to fit different pipe dimensions, with a uniform width of 150 mm for all plastic pipes
Secured with two hose clamps—one on each side of the bulkhead; in deck installations, clamps can be fitted from underneath
To prevent passage of cold smoke or gas, gaps between the partition and Marine Wrap can be sealed with Marine Flex (Firestop 3000)
